'THE HERMETIC ORGAN VOLUME 12 - THE BOSCH REQUIEM' is the twelfth installment in John Zorn's series of solo organ improvisations, released on April 19, 2024. Recorded at the Grote Kerk in Den Bosch during Zorn's 70th birthday celebration at the November Music festival, this album pays homage to painter Hieronymus Bosch. The first part features Zorn exploring the organ's capabilities in a private performance. In the second part, 'A Pilgrimage Through Hell', longtime collaborator John Medeski joins as organ assistant, together creating a unique musical experience. This album is available on CD.
