Jozef van Wissem is a Dutch minimalist composer and lute player. In 2013, he won the Cannes Soundtrack Award for the score of "Only Lovers Left Alive". His solo albums include "It Is All That Is Made" (2009) and "Ex Patris" (2010). Van Wissem is known for his approach to the lute, combining classical techniques with modern compositions. He has collaborated with director Jim Jarmusch on several projects, including the albums "Concerning the Entrance into Eternity" (2012) and "The Mystery of Heaven" (2012).
