Junip is a Swedish folk rock band formed in 1998 in Vänersborg. The band consists of José González (vocals, guitar) and Tobias Winterkorn (organ, Moog synthesizer). In 2000, they released their first EP, 'Straight Lines'. After a hiatus due to González's solo career, they released their debut album 'Fields' in 2010, followed by their second album 'Junip' in 2013. Their songs 'Far Away' and 'Don't Let It Pass' were featured in the film 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty'.
