Karel Gott was a Czech singer, known as the "Golden Voice of Prague". During his career, he released nearly 300 albums and sold tens of millions of recordings. He was popular in Germany, where he sang the title song for the animated series "Maya the Bee". In 1968, he represented Austria at Eurovision with the song "Tausend Fenster". Throughout his career, he won 42 Golden Nightingale awards. In 2009, he was awarded the Medal of Merit. In 2019, he released the duet "Srdce nehasnou" with his daughter Charlotte.
