Kev Hopper is an English bass guitarist best known as a member of the London-based band Stump, formed in 1983. After Stump disbanded in 1988, he pursued a solo career, releasing over a dozen albums, including "Stolen Jewels" (1990), "Spoombung" (1998), and "Whispering Foils" (2000). His music blends experimental elements with melodic pop and often features unconventional instruments like the musical saw. In addition to his solo work, he collaborated with bands Ticklish and Prescott. In 2025, he plans to release the album "XiX" under the Dimple Discs label.
