Kunihiko Sugano is a Japanese jazz pianist renowned for his virtuosic playing and contributions to the Japanese jazz scene. In 1974, he released the album "Love Is A Many Splendored Thing" with his trio and percussionist Yoichi Ogawa, recorded live at Toshi Center Hall in Tokyo. This album features tracks like "Autumn Leaves" and "Blues for Wynton Kelly." Sugano's style is influenced by Erroll Garner, and he has worked with the Three Blind Mice label, which played a key role in popularizing Japanese jazz.
