Le Orme is an Italian progressive rock band formed in 1966 in Venice. The band is known for its contribution to the Italian progressive rock scene in the 1970s. Their most notable albums include "Uomo di pezza" (1972), "Collage" (1971), and "Felona e Sorona" (1973). In 2024, they released the concept album "Il Leone e la Bandiera," which pays tribute to their hometown of Venice. This album was initially part of the "Le Orme & Friends" box set and was later released separately in a limited edition of 1,000 copies. The band is recognized for its complex musical structures and innovative approach to rock music.
