M.O.D. (Method of Destruction) is an American crossover thrash metal band from New York City, founded in 1986 by vocalist Billy Milano. The band is known for blending hardcore punk and thrash metal with often humorous and politically incorrect lyrics. Their debut album, "U.S.A. for M.O.D.", was released in 1987 and produced by Scott Ian of Anthrax. Subsequent albums include "Gross Misconduct" (1989) and "Rhythm of Fear" (1992). After several hiatuses, they released "Busted, Broke & American" in 2017. M.O.D. is considered a significant act in the crossover thrash metal genre.
