Martin Gore is a British musician and songwriter, best known as the primary songwriter and member of Depeche Mode. In 2021, he released his fourth solo EP titled "The Third Chimpanzee," featuring five instrumental tracks named after various primate species. The recordings were made in his home studio in Santa Barbara and released under Mute Records. Gore was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Depeche Mode in 2020.
