Misha Mullov-Abbado is a British jazz double bassist and composer, son of Italian conductor Claudio Abbado and Russian violinist Viktoria Mullova. He studied at Gonville and Caius College, Cambridge, and the Royal Academy of Music in London. In 2014, he won the Kenny Wheeler Jazz Prize and was selected for the BBC New Generation Artists program. He has released three albums: "New Ansonia" (2015), "Cross-Platform Interchange" (2017), and "Dream Circus" (2020). His music blends elements of jazz, classical, and pop, and he has collaborated with artists such as Jasper Høiby and Rob Luft.
