Nectar Woode is an English soul singer-songwriter born in Milton Keynes to a Ghanaian father and an English mother. After moving to London for university, she began performing at open mic events and improv nights. In 2021, she collaborated on the single "Fear Leads Us On" with Mom Tudie and Eriksson Kaner. In 2022, she released her debut solo single "For the Best." In August 2023, she signed with Communion Records and released the singles "Good Vibrations" and "God Talks Back." In 2024, she released her debut EP "Nothing to Lose" and a second EP "How It's Gotta Be." Her music has been featured on BBC Radio 1 and Elton John's "Rocket Hour" on Apple Music.
