The Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra (NedPhO) is one of the leading orchestras in the Netherlands. Alongside the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra (NKO), it regularly accompanies performances of the Dutch National Opera (DNO) at the Muziektheater. Additionally, they offer diverse concert programs at Amsterdam's Concertgebouw and are welcomed guests in other Dutch concert halls and international festivals. Their programming is known for its accessibility and presentation, with their enthusiasm and passion for music providing listeners with a unique experience. Through the NedPho GO! program, they strive to make classical music accessible to a broad audience. Under the leadership of former chief conductor Hartmut Haenchen, they achieved success with the complete performance of Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen. In 2014, they recorded Richard Strauss's opera Arabella under the baton of conductor Marc Albrecht, which was released as a 3-CD set in 2015.
