Neurosis is an American post-metal band formed in 1985 in Oakland, California. Initially starting as a hardcore punk band, they gradually expanded their sound to include elements of sludge metal, experimental music, and ambient. Their most significant albums include "Through Silver in Blood" (1996), "Times of Grace" (1999), and "A Sun That Never Sets" (2001). The band is known for their intense live performances and innovative approach to metal music.
