Olde Throne is a melodic and atmospheric black metal band from New Zealand, led by Harrison McKenzie. Their debut album, "An Gorta Mór" (2022), addresses the Irish famine, while "In the Land of Ghosts" (2023) explores Scottish legends. Their third album, "Megalith" (2025), draws inspiration from Celtic mythology and the Neolithic era, incorporating flutes, throat singing, and tribal drums to create a unique sound. On this album, McKenzie is joined by Zannibal, who contributes melodic guitars and synthesizers, and drummer Tim Yatras, known from bands Austere and Germ.
