Perry Farrell is an American singer and songwriter, best known as the frontman of the alternative rock band Jane's Addiction, which he founded in 1985. The band released albums such as "Nothing's Shocking" (1988) and "Ritual de lo Habitual" (1990). In 1991, Farrell founded the Lollapalooza festival, which became a significant event in the alternative music scene. After Jane's Addiction disbanded in 1991, he formed the band Porno for Pyros, releasing albums "Porno for Pyros" (1993) and "Good God's Urge" (1996). Farrell also released a solo album, "Song Yet to Be Sung," in 2001. His musical style encompasses alternative rock, hard rock, and electronica.
