Rich Pellegrin is an American jazz pianist and composer known for his percussive playing style and sonorous tone. His debut album, "Three-Part Odyssey," was released in 2011, followed by "Episodes IV-VI" in 2014 and "Down" in 2019. The album "Down" features five compositions, including "Trial" and "Down," and includes collaboration with the Mizzou New Music Ensemble. Pellegrin is also an educator at the University of Florida and organized the Mizzou Improvisation Project in 2014, a festival focused on improvisation and collaboration among musicians and composers.
