Richard Sussman is an American jazz pianist, composer, and arranger. In 1978, he released the album "Free Fall" featuring musicians like Tom Harrell and Jerry Bergonzi. This was followed by "Live at Sweet Rhythm" in 2010 and "Continuum" in 2013. Sussman is known for integrating jazz rhythms with elements of contemporary classical music. He has collaborated with artists such as Randy Brecker, Lionel Hampton, and Lee Konitz. He serves as a professor of jazz composition at the Manhattan School of Music in New York.
