Rosalie Allen was an American country singer and yodeler, known as the "Queen of Yodeling". Born Julie Marlene Bedra in Old Forge, Pennsylvania, she achieved success in 1946 with "I Want to Be a Cowboy's Sweetheart" and "Guitar Polka". She collaborated with Elton Britt on "Beyond the Sunset" in 1950. During the 1940s and 1950s, she hosted her own radio show, "Prairie Stars", and was the first woman inducted into the Country Music DJ Hall of Fame in 1999.
