Rosemary & Garlic is a Dutch duo consisting of vocalist and guitarist Anne van den Hoogen and keyboardist and guitarist Dolf Smolenaers. Formed in 2015, they are known for their tranquil, melancholic indie folk sound. Their debut EP, "The Kingfisher" (2015), features the track "Old Now," which garnered millions of streams on various platforms. In 2018, they released their first full-length album, "Rosemary & Garlic," under the Nettwerk label. This was followed by "A Room of One's Own" in 2023. Their music is characterized by delicate vocals and acoustic arrangements, often complemented by electronic elements.
