Serge Rezvani is a French artist known as a writer, painter, and composer. Born in 1928, he authored over 150 songs, including "Le Tourbillon," sung by Jeanne Moreau in the film "Jules and Jim." He used the pseudonym Cyrus Bassiak, meaning "barefoot" in Russian. Rezvani also wrote songs for Jean-Luc Godard's film "Pierrot le Fou." In addition to music, he wrote over 40 novels and several plays. His work is deeply rooted in French culture and has influenced many artists.
