Skyzoo, a Brooklyn-based American rapper, collaborated with Italian jazz band Dumbo Station on the EP "The Bluest Note." This six-track project, released on April 24, 2020, blends hip-hop with jazz arrangements. Recording took place in Rome, where Skyzoo and Dumbo Station jointly crafted the musical arrangements. The EP features tracks like "The Caveat" and "We (Used to) Live in Brooklyn, Baby." Skyzoo is known for his affinity for jazz, evident in his previous projects such as "Retropolitan" with Pete Rock. "The Bluest Note" pays homage to classic jazz albums of the past, when LPs typically contained around six tracks.
