Sugarcult was an American rock band from Santa Barbara, California, formed in 1998. The band consisted of Tim Pagnotta (vocals, rhythm guitar), Airin Older (bass), Marko DeSantis (lead guitar), and Kenny Livingston (drums). Their 2001 debut album, "Start Static," featured hits like "Bouncing Off the Walls," "Pretty Girl (The Way)," and "Stuck in America." They followed up with "Palm Trees and Power Lines" in 2004 and "Lights Out" in 2006. Their music is characterized as pop punk, pop rock, and power pop. The band was active until 2011, influencing many in the pop punk genre.
