The Coasters are an American vocal group formed in 1955 in Los Angeles. They are known for hits like "Yakety Yak," "Charlie Brown," and "Poison Ivy." Their music blends elements of rock'n'roll, rhythm and blues, and doo-wop. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1987.
