The Dells were an American vocal group from Harvey, Illinois, active from the 1950s through the 1990s. Originally known as The El-Rays, the group gained fame with hits like "Oh, What a Night" and "Stay in My Corner." Their 1971 album "Freedom Means" includes tracks such as "The Love We Had (Stays on My Mind)." The Dells were known for their soul and R&B sound and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
