The Members are a British punk band formed in Camberley, Surrey, England, in 1976. They are best known for their hit "The Sound of the Suburbs," which reached number 12 on the UK Singles Chart in 1979. Their debut album, "At the Chelsea Nightclub," was released in 1979. The band is recognized for their eclectic mix of punk, reggae, surf, and pop. Throughout their career, they collaborated with producer Steve Lillywhite, and their track "Offshore Banking Business" helped relaunch the career of reggae trombone legend Rico Rodriguez MBE.
