The Modest Jazz Trio was a jazz ensemble that recorded its sole album, "Good Friday Blues," in 1960. The trio comprised guitarist Jim Hall, known for his subtle tone and melodic approach; Red Mitchell, who played piano instead of his usual instrument, the double bass; and bassist Red Kelly. The album features six tracks, including two originals by Mitchell and renditions of standards like "Willow Weep for Me" and "I Remember You."
