The Producers is an American new wave and power pop band from Atlanta, Georgia, that achieved success in the 1980s. Original members included Van Temple (guitar, vocals), Kyle Henderson (bass guitar, vocals), Wayne Famous (keyboards), and Bryan Holmes (drums). Their debut album, "The Producers," released in 1981, reached number 163 on the Billboard 200 chart, with the single "What She Does to Me" peaking at number 61 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their follow-up album, "You Make the Heat," released in 1982, featured the single "She Sheila," which reached number 48 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart.
