The Seeds were an American psychedelic garage rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1965. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Sky Saxon, guitarist Jan Savage, keyboardist Daryl Hooper, and drummer Rick Andridge. The band is best known for their 1966 hit "Pushin' Too Hard." Their debut album, "The Seeds," and the follow-up, "A Web of Sound," are considered seminal recordings in the garage rock genre. In 1967, they released "Future," showcasing a shift towards a more psychedelic sound. Throughout their career, they collaborated with various musicians and influenced numerous later punk and alternative rock bands.
