Ulcerate Fester was a Dutch death metal band from Almelo, formed in 1989. The band released two demos: "Unceasing Life" (1991) and "Contradictio Interminus" (1992). They subsequently released two full-length albums: "Sonatorrek" (1995) and "Souled Out" (1998). Their music was characteristic of early 90s European death metal. Members of the band were also active in other bands such as Abrupt Demise, Anarchos, and Eternal Solstice. In 2025, a compilation titled "Unceasing Life, Contradictio Interminus" was released, featuring their two demos and bonus tracks from 1991 and 1994.
