Vern Pullens was an American rockabilly and country singer who began his career in September 1956 with recordings of "Bop Crazy Baby" and "It's My Life" for Houston's Spade Records. During the week, he worked as a bricklayer and recorded on weekends. After a long hiatus, he returned to recording in 1975 during the rockabilly revival. Notable recordings include "Would You Be Happy" and "I Sent You The Pillow". Pullens also recorded for labels Big Howdy and D Records. He hailed from Bogalusa, Louisiana, and was known for his authentic approach to the rockabilly genre.
