Upupayāma, the project of Italian multi-instrumentalist Alessio Ferrari, presents its third album, 'Mount Elephant', set for release on September 13, 2024. This album is available on 140g white and red vinyl, each version offering a unique visual experience. 'Mount Elephant' is organic psychedelia at its finest, blending traditional Bhutanese music, Thai disco, and Anatolian psych with acid-folk, '70s kosmische, and stoner-rock. Ferrari, known for his distinctive approach to music, crafts dream-like instrumental tracks that range from serene meditations to bursts of fuzzed-out riffing. The album was recorded in his home studio overlooking Parma and mixed by Chris Smith of Kluster Sounds.
