Vixen is an American rock band formed in 1980 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, by guitarist Jan Kuehnemund. After relocating to Los Angeles in 1985, the lineup solidified with Janet Gardner (vocals), Share Ross (bass), and Roxy Petrucci (drums). Their 1988 debut album, "Vixen," featured hits like "Edge of a Broken Heart" and "Cryin'," both reaching the Billboard Hot 100. The 1990 follow-up, "Rev It Up," also achieved success. Known for their contribution to the glam metal and hard rock scenes of the 1980s, Vixen has undergone several lineup changes and hiatuses but continues to tour and record new material.
