Walrus is a Canadian rock band from Halifax, Nova Scotia, formed in 2012 by brothers Justin and Jordan Murphy. Their music blends elements of 1960s psychedelic rock, garage rock, and 1990s Britpop. They released their debut album, "Family Hangover," in 2017, followed by "Cool to Who" in 2019. The band is known for their energetic live performances and extensive touring across North America. They recorded at the historic Old Confidence Lodge in Riverport, Nova Scotia. Walrus has collaborated with Canadian artists like The Sadies and were signed to Dan Mangan's Madic Records.
