Claude-Michel Schönberg is a French composer, producer, and singer, best known for his musicals. Together with Alain Boublil, he created works such as "Les Misérables" (1980), "Miss Saigon" (1989), and "Martin Guerre" (1996). "Les Misérables" won eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical and Best Original Score. "Miss Saigon" was nominated for ten Tony Awards. In 2011, Schönberg composed the music for the ballet "Cleopatra" for Northern Ballet. In 2012, he was nominated for an Academy Award for the song "Suddenly" from the film adaptation of "Les Misérables".
