Zouk Machine is a female zouk group from Guadeloupe, founded in 1986 by Guy Houllier and Yves Honoré. The original lineup consisted of Joëlle Ursull, Christiane Obydol, and Dominique Zorobabel. After Ursull's departure in 1988, she was replaced by Jane Fostin. The group achieved significant success with the song "Maldòn (la musique dans la peau)", which topped the French singles chart for nine weeks in 1990 and sold over one million copies. Other notable tracks include "Sa ké cho" and "DJ". Zouk Machine released several albums, including "Kréòl" and "Clin d'œil". The group collaborated with artists such as Maxime Le Forestier and Julien Clerc. In 1995, Fostin left the group to pursue a solo career.
