Description

André van Duin, the renowned Dutch comedian and singer, pays tribute to the legendary French chansonnier Charles Aznavour with his album 'La Bohème'. This album features 13 classic Aznavour songs, which Van Duin has translated into Dutch, preserving their original emotion while adding a contemporary twist. The package includes an 80-page book with a foreword by Matthijs Van Nieuwkerk, interviews with producer Eric van Tijn, chanson expert Rob Kemps, and Boudewijn de Groot, who duets with Van Duin on 'Een Meisje Van 16'. Authored by music journalist Robert Haagsma, the book contains biographies of both Van Duin and Aznavour, as well as the stories behind each track. This album marks Van Duin's second project dedicated to the repertoire of a single artist, following 'Van Duin Zingt Sonneveld'.
