Description

Dexter Gordon, the legendary saxophone master, returned to the U.S. in 1965 to record his final Blue Note album, 'Gettin' Around'. This album showcases a unique blend of bossa nova, ballads, and jazz standards, with Gordon's tenor saxophone accompanied by Bobby Hutcherson on vibraphone, Barry Harris on piano, Bob Cranshaw on bass, and Billy Higgins on drums. This 2024 reissue is part of the Blue Note Classic Vinyl series, presented in stereo, fully analog, remastered by Kevin Gray from the original master tapes, and pressed on 180g vinyl at Optimal.
