I Against I is a Dutch punk rock band formed in the mid-1990s by childhood friends Ronald van Maren and Jasper Blazer. The band's name is inspired by Bad Brains' album "I Against I". In 1996, they became the first European band to sign with Epitaph Records. Their debut album, "Headcleaner", was released in 1998 and recorded at The Blasting Room studio in Colorado under the guidance of Bill Stevenson from the band All. Throughout their career, the band toured with acts like Bad Religion, Pennywise, and No Fun At All. After disbanding in 2008, they reunited in 2017 and released the album "Small Waves" in 2018.
