Jeremy Dutcher is a Canadian musician and member of the Wolastoqiyik nation from Tobique First Nation in New Brunswick. He studied music and anthropology at Dalhousie University, training as an operatic tenor. His 2018 debut album, "Wolastoqiyik Lintuwakonawa," features post-classical arrangements of his community's traditional songs, incorporating archival recordings from 1907. This album won the Polaris Music Prize in 2018 and the Juno Award for Indigenous Music Album of the Year in 2019. In 2023, he released "Motewolonuwok," which includes songs in both Wolastoqey and English. Dutcher is recognized for his efforts to preserve the Wolastoqiyik language and culture through music.
