SWV (Sisters With Voices) is an American R&B group formed in 1988 in New York City. The group consists of Cheryl "Coko" Gamble, Tamara "Taj" Johnson, and Leanne "Lelee" Lyons. Their debut album, "It's About Time" (1992), features hits like "Weak" and "Right Here/Human Nature." In 1996, they released "New Beginning," which includes the hit "You're the One." Their third album, "Release Some Tension" (1997), features collaborations with artists such as Missy Elliott and Puff Daddy.
